Dave Laketa played baseball for Gordie in the 70’s at the University of St. Francis and became sports information director at St. Francis which led to his eventually becoming Director of Athletics. Dave played for Gordie, worked with Gordie, was Gordie’s boss and then rehired Gordie to return to St. Francis. Dave has great insight into Gordie’s greatness from many perspectives.
